ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

In case of Nylon seat ball :

To remove the ball socket from the ball, lift with a screwdriver the metal ring while at the same time pulling the gas spring toward you. The socket will be removed of his location. Do the same operation at the opposed side to remove it completely (see picture).

In case of metal seat ball :

Unlock the needle and remove it of its location.
Pull the gas spring to free it.

In cas of eyelet fittings :

Remove from axis your gas spring by unscrewing the nut or the circlip.

NOTA : Remove the two old gas spring before put the new.

NOTA : Il faut impérativement enlever les deux vérins d’origine avant de monter les nouveaux

New gas spring assembly

In case of nylon ball socket: clip the gas spring at the desired location (ball).

In case of metal ball socket: same operation than previously and reposition the needle after positioning the gas spring.

In case of “eyelet fittings”: you have to adjust the hole of it to the support axis then put it in place, and srew the nut or circlip.

NOTE: gas spring have to be installed with the rod up when the hatchback is open. Avoid chocs on the gas spring.
